Originally built as a shelter for the poor and homeless in 1908, PerOlofGården later became a specialized educational institution for many children. Many years later it was developed into a nursing home for the elderly. In her centennial existence, the timber house has been refurbished regularly.

It's where you come to get away from it all and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of its surroundings. In the park, a private beach awaits our guests. Swim in open waters in a a child-friendly surrounding, from the dock it is easy to get into the boat drift away on Lake Kyrksjön. At the shore you'll find the characteristic roofed dancehall, a much beloved venue for traditional outdoor weddings, a small temple for lovers of the performing arts or a simple cosy gathering.
Now run by Nora Jeanne van Vloodorp and René Rijns. In the short time they have owned the fabulous property it has grown from a B&B to a fully fledged hotel. Ambitions are high with this couple as new endeavours are always underway. Upon a return it cannot go unnotticed the changes, never will your visit be the same but one thing.. tranquility.
